NGDC Competitive Teams
For the serious and committed dancer who loves to perform!
join our competitive family!
At Next Generation Dance Company there are two competition teams to choose from:

Competitive Company dancers will dance 6 hours/week or less and compete in 4 local and regional competitions each year. These dancers will train between 2-3 days each week.

Elite Company dancers will dance 6 or more hours/week and compete in 4 or more local and regional competitions each year as well as a national competition every-other year. These dancers will train between 3-5 days each week.

Competitive Company
A Part-Time Competitive Program for dancers looking to dance 2-3 days a week and under 6 hours/week. Competitive Company teams are by audition only. Each member must audition either on the audition date, or in a private audition. These dancers will have the opportunity to express interest in "Specialty Routines" (solos/duets/trios) and may be chosen to compete in a Specialty Routine if NGDC staff feels that they are ready for these opportunities.
Two Days Per Week with an Optional Third
6 or Less Hours Per Week
4 Competitions Per Year with an Optional 5th for Specialty Routines
Age Groups:
Mini Company: 6-8 Years
Junior Company: 9-11 Years
Teen Company: 12-14 Years
Senior Company: 15+ Years
Our Competitive company
Elite Company
NGDC's Elite Program is for the most committed dancers looking to expand their knowledge and take their dancing to the next level. These dancers train between 3-5 days each week at 6 or more hours each week. The Elite Company is by invitation only, and Specialty Routines are given to those dancers who the NGDC Staff feel are ready to take them on.
Three-Four Days Per Week with the Possibility of a 5th day for Extra Rehearsal
Over 6 hours Per Week (Generally 8-10)
4 Competitions Per Year with an Optional 5th for Specialty Routines
Age Groups:
Mini Elite: 6-8 years
Junior Elite: 8-10 years
Inter Elite: 10-12 years
Teen Elite: 12-14 years
Senior Elite: 15+ years
